Air filter check and replacement. A clogged filter is the single most common reason AC systems underperform. We check the condition and replace it if needed. If you've got a high-efficiency media filter, we'll inspect the housing and make sure airflow isn't restricted.

 

Evaporator and condenser coil inspection. Dirty coils make your AC work harder, run longer, and cool less effectively. We inspect both coils for buildup, check for any signs of frost or ice (which indicates a deeper problem), and clean them if needed.

 

Refrigerant level check. Low refrigerant means your system can't cool properly — and it doesn't go low on its own. If we find it low, we check for a leak before adding any refrigerant. Just topping it up without finding the source is a waste of money.

 

Condensate drain line flush. This is the line that removes water pulled from your home's air. It clogs with algae over time. A blocked drain can back up into your home and cause water damage. We clear it during every service visit.

 

Thermostat calibration. We verify the thermostat is reading the actual room temperature correctly and cycling the AC at the right intervals. A miscalibrated thermostat means the system runs too long or shuts off too early.

 

Electrical connections and controls. Loose or corroded connections are a fire risk and a common cause of compressor failure. We check terminals, contactors, and capacitors.
